Safeguarding Children

This EYFS Safeguarding Course equips nursery workers with essential knowledge and skills to protect children from harm, covering key legislation, recognizing signs of abuse, and specific safeguarding issues such as FGM, radicalisation, and abuse linked to faith and belief. It emphasises the importance of reporting concerns, maintaining confidentiality, and creating a safe environment for all children.

Description

The EYFS Safeguarding Course is designed for nursery workers to ensure the safety and well-being of children in early years settings. 

This comprehensive training covers key legislation and statutory guidance, including The Children Acts, The Education Act, and the Prevent Duty. You will learn to identify and respond to various forms of abuse and neglect, recognise signs of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and understand issues related to radicalisation and extremism, as well as abuse linked to faith and belief. 

The course also provides guidance on reporting procedures, the role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct. 

At the end of the course you will have to pass a multiple choice test to receive a CPD Certificate in Safeguarding Children.
