1. Early Years Qualifications

1.a: Qualifications Achieved in the United Kingdom

We accept Early Years qualifications from Level 2 upwards that have been achieved within the United Kingdom.

How can I confirm if my qualification is 'Full and Relevant'?
The complete list of qualifications accepted by the DfE to work in an early years setting (known as 'full and relevant') is detailed in the official Early Years Qualifications Achieved in the United Kingdom guidance.

1.b: Qualifications Achieved outside of the United Kingdom

Are international qualifications automatically recognised in the UK?
No. Qualifications achieved outside of the United Kingdom are not automatically recognised by the Department for Education (DfE) as being 'full and relevant' for the Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) or Early Years Educator (Level 3) criteria. 2. Adult Care and other qualifications
If you hold any full and relevant qualifications in adult health and social care, please upload the certificates to your account.

3. First Aid Certificate:

3.a: Early Years Sector - Paediatric First Aid:
Paediatric First Aid (PFA) is specialised first aid training focused specifically on techniques designed for use on children and infants (anyone under the age of 16). It is tailored for environments where young children are present.

If you have a valid paediatric first aid (issues within the last three years) please upload them to your account.

3.b: Adult Care Sector - First Aid Requirements:
If you hold a valid First Aid certificate issued within the last three years, please upload a copy to your account.

4. Other certificates
If you have any certificates from the UK from the last 12 months related to the care sector, please upload them to your account.

Who should I contact if I believe my qualification has been recognised but I am still not receiving qualified jobs?
If you believe your qualification has been officially recognised and you are not being allocated to roles requiring a qualified staff member, please reach out to us directly for review at jobs@tembocare.co.uk.
