Once you join Tembo Care, we ask you to keep a current profile photo so that our clients can recognise you when you arrive for a job.
What are the technical requirements for the image?
To ensure your photo looks professional on the platform, it must meet these standards:
Quality: Clear, in focus, and in colour.
Editing: Must be a natural photo unaltered by computer software or filters.
Dimensions: At least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall.
File Size: Between 50KB and 10MB.
Can I take the photo myself?
Yes, a selfie is perfectly fine as long as it follows the rest of the guidelines.
What should be in the background of the photo?
The photo should be taken against a plain, white background with a clear contrast between you and the wall. Please ensure there are no other people, objects, or shadows in the frame or behind you.
How should I pose for the photo?
Your photo should show your head, shoulders, and upper body. You must:
Face forward and look directly at the camera.
Keep your eyes open and visible (ensure no hair is covering them).
Make sure nothing is covering your face.
Most importantly: remember to smile!
How often should I update it?
We ask that you update your photo at least once a year to ensure it remains an accurate representation of what you look like today.
Please, note that we cannot accept a picture taken of another photograph.
