Why is there a pending charge on my payment card?

As you're paying your carer via our cashless payment method for an upcoming booking, our system will place what is called an "authorisation hold" on your registered payment card, for a small amount, approximately 24 hours before your booking is due to start.

This "authorisation hold" will automatically convert to an actual charge for the correct amount that should be paid to the carer once the booking has ended and you have approved the timesheet.
