When working in the baby room, you will primarily be caring for children between 3 months to 18 months old. This age group requires specialised attention compared to older children. Please be nurturing, positive and engage with the children.
This room is ideal for childcare professionals who have prior experience with infants. Only accept a job offer in the baby room if you have previous experience working with babies under the age of 18 months. Baby room jobs are clearly marked with light green label.
In the baby room, you will also be required to change nappies while strictly adhering to the nursery's safeguarding and nappy-changing policies.
Long acrylic nails are not permitted; nails must be kept short and tidy.
Additionally, please remember that even during children's nap time, you must closely monitor the children and conduct regular checks, as nap time does not equate to rest time for childcare workers.
