The setting always decides when you take your lunch break.
It might happen in the middle of your shift, but it can never be at the beginning of your shift or at the very end of your shift. The minimum time they have to give you is 20 minutes after 6 continuous hours of work. If you work for less than six hours or six hours exactly, you are not entitled to a break.
Please always either ask the setting’s manager or your designated lead for the day (for example: line manager, senior staff, room leader), what time you can take your lunch break unless they informed you already.
Your lunch break is not paid.
